Dear colleagues,

I hope you enjoyed the past holiday break, spending quality time with your family and friends or devoting time to yourself.

Receive my best wishes in these first days of 2023. May you find health, optimism and determination to succeed in all your projects, whether professional or personal.

These few lines do not seek to exhaustively address our institutional, educational, research or technology transfer projects, both nationally and internationally. In the following days, we will provide you with an overview of the guidelines for our current and upcoming development projects. We commit to actively thinking and acting for a society that, I sincerely believe, is in need of us, of our Institute.

So, let’s stay the course. In the face of uncertain social and environmental changes, and in our role of public institution, our everyday efforts fulfill a beautiful purpose: to educate and train responsible scientific leaders and to generate society-changing knowledge. This purpose honors our work and should make us proud.

This year also marks the 60th anniversary of INSA Toulouse — a milestone that represents 60 years of teaching and training, numerous contributions to scientific research, and 18,000 alumni who share fond memories of our school and embody our values. We will celebrate this beautiful anniversary together through various events that will take place throughout the year.

Thus, let me welcome you back. I wish we all take pleasure in our activities and would like to invite you to join us on Monday, January 23 at 1:30 p.m. for the Cérémonie des vœux 2023, which will include some refreshments.

Cordially,

Bertrand Raquet
Director of INSA Toulouse
